Windows 10 taskbar always on top, would like to disable that Hello, My Windows 10 laptop did an update earlier today, and now my taskbar always appears on top of all other windows, even on full-screen elements. To do this, download Always on Top (link below), and unzip the file. Once you’ve launched it, simply select the window you want to keep on top and press Ctrl+Space. This program will now stay in front, even when it is not the active window. Here’s a screenshot of a Hotmail signup dialog in Chrome with Notepad kept on top.
The Download Now link will download a small installer file to your desktop. Remain online and double-click the installer to proceed with the actual download.
Set a window to stay on top with this single-function but handy application. Stay On Top's interface is merely an icon in the system tray. Many users keep multiple programs running. Though some applications feature a stay-on-top feature, the option is not always available. Stay On Top displays the list of active windows when right-clicked. Select a listed window to force it to stay on top of all windows. To return to normal windows functionality, simply reselect the listed item. Though the feature is extremely basic, a small instruction or help file is needed for novices. This freeware is a great help to any user who wants a window to stick on top.
